Basic information
|
How often does a piano need to be tuned? The need for tuning varies greatly from piano to piano and is based on numerous different factors. Many newer pianos can stand longer periods of time without a tuneup, whereas older or antique pianos can require frequent tuning. In general, the average amount of time between tunings on a piano in the home should be between 6 and 12 months. http://www.shmat.com/piano/find/tuner/
